John Conyers is a highly-conspicuous exception to the rest of the US government. He is not only saying but also doing the right thing at a time when the right thing is not highly regarded, or even paid much attention. He recently released a report giving lengthy and detailed reasons why W should be impeached. Where are the high-profile Democrats - Hillary Clinton, Howard Dean, Barak Obama? Only Gore is within earshot, and that's only because he hasn't got anything left to lose.
