In which things get interesting

Hey, folks, sorry it's been so long since I've posted, but I was out of the country for a while, and I've had assorted emotional, physiological, and economic issues since I got back.

Anyway, you may have heard about the rallies yesterday and today against Sensenbrenner's senselessness. You may have even participated. If so, good for you! Now, here's the follow-up...

The same folks who put this together amazingly fast across the nation are now calling for a general strike for May Day (that's May 1 for those of you not keeping score at home). The US hasn't had a general strike in, what... 70 years? About damn time we did. So, don't go to work or school and don't buy anything on May first. Instead, organize a protest at your nearest racist or otherwise-smallminded government or corporate office.
