One of the very first things I ever did as an "official" Green (not a Green official, mind you) was to upgrade the design of the website for the Green Party of Michigan, and that design was used until just recently - some eight years later. Part of what I did was a "news page," which was a forerunner to what we today call blogs. One of the few stories I remember posting was that Ken Pentel was running for the governor of Minnesota.

Today, Ken Pentel is running for governor for the third time. One would think he's getting pretty good at it by now, and in a state with a third-party governor, no less.

As the new, or more accurately, soon-to-be campaign manager for the gubenatorial candidate here in Wisconsin, I want to wish Ken all the luck in the world.
