Her moniker notwithstanding, Siel, Green LA Girl, is a registered Democrat. However, she's once again posted that the Green Party reflects both her values and her social circle better than the Dems.

Like many progressive Dems, she seems no longer able to reconcile the reputation the Democratic Party has built for itself with its actual actions. The anti-war party votes for war. The party of the people votes for the rich. The environmental party votes for corporate polluters. But they don't have to care, because the party that will level with you says that "third parties" can never win, so it would be a total waste of your time to even try. In fact, it would be a step backwards, because you'd be taking votes away from the progressive party. The democratic party says you damn well better vote for its candidates, or else! Or else what? Or else rich, pro-corporate, pro-war candidates will win!
